The exhaust purge blower on his Navien NPE 240 instant water heater made a very loud, low frequency hum (~100 Hz) for about 90 seconds after every run. The vibrations were permeating through the wall studs into the whole house. Henrick mounted the Navien unit on the wall using vibration absorbing pads and covered it with Damplifier Pro sheets. The noise/hum measured 3 ft. away from the unit has dropped a whopping 12 dB! The external vibration is almost entirely absorbed by the Damplifier Pro sheets.
