Free Shipping to Mainland USA

We are proud to be leading the way in our industry yet again by being the first to offer free shipping for anything purchased on our website. Not to toot our own horn, but this was not easy to do (toot, toot). The shipping industry is not gentle on its packages, and with how bulky and heavy our products are – it can also be incredibly expensive too.

After many years of experience, we are finally ready to deliver even more value to our customers by covering the shipping cost. To give you some idea of the scope of the challenge, our shipping sizes range from small USPS bags to boxes over 4 feet tall. It's not unusual for an order to require multiple boxes and weigh hundreds of pounds. There’s an art to getting a diverse and complicated order across the country undamaged for a reasonable cost, but with continued innovation in our boxing strategies and an expanded distribution network, we’re ready to deliver on that challenge.

Free shipping is included on all orders shipped via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS to one U.S. mainland address. If you live in the USA outside the 48 states and DC, we offer free USPS shipping options on select products. You can choose to upgrade any order to FedEx overnight or two-day shipping at an additional cost.

Shipping Time Frame

We do our best to ship all orders processed before Noon (CST) the same business day. We typically are able to ship any order by the next business day, but there are exceptions. If your order requires custom fabrication or is a large freight order, it can take several days or even a couple weeks to ship your order. Please refer to the product listing on the website or call us if you have questions.

Once we've shipped your order, products are delivered within 2 to 5 business days depending on your location and the shipping method.

In some rare cases products are on back order. When this happens, we update our website to reflect the estimated shipping date of these products.


International Shipping

Second Skin Insulation ships throughout the world. For international orders, please contact us via email ([email protected]) with a full ship to address and complete product list. We will respond with shipping options. International orders typically ship within 2 business days, with some exceptions.

Many customers choose to ship to a freight forwarder. Please contact us if you have questions on how to set this up.


Returns Policy

Second Skin accepts return requests for 90 days from the date of purchase. All materials have a 100% quality guarantee.  We are confident that our products will work exactly as advertised and offer several methods of support to ensure you're able to install the material correctly. The liability of Second Skin is limited only to replacement of defective material.  

All returns must include the following information:

  • Return Authorization Number (RA#)
  • Copy of invoice

A Return Authorization Number can be requested by contacted a Second Skin representative by phone at 1-800-679-8511 or email at [email protected]. Returns will be inspected for damage and may be subject to a restocking fee.
