Installation Instructions

How to Confirm Fit and Measure the Door

  1. Confirm that you have 1-1/2" of flat space on the jamb to mount the jamb seals.
  2. Confirm the bottom seal will drop onto a flat, hard surface with no obstructions. The bottom seal should drop 3/8" to the floor below.
  3. Open the door and measure from the floor to the top of the door frame.
  4. Measure the width of the door frame across the top.
  5. Double check your measurements to ensure accuracy before ordering or cutting.

 

How to Install Your Door Seal Kit

  1. Measure & Cut – Cut jamb seals and bottom seal to size. (bottom seal max cut: 2" on non-actuator side).
  2. Install Side Seals – Mount hinge and latch jamb seals with included screws.
  3. Install Top Seal – Mount top jamb seal between side seals to complete the perimeter.
  4. Adjust Seals – Use adjustment screws to tighten gasket evenly (test positive pressure with sheet of paper).
  5. Install Bottom Seal – Mount with actuator screw toward hinge side. Adjust until it just blocks light.
