X60 spray contact adhesive is a pressure sensitive spray adhesive designed to permanently bond solid substrates. The cans are easily portable and perfect for field and shop applications with drywall, concrete, and brick. We recommend the X60 spray contact adhesive for permanent acoustic panel and acoustic foam applications to masonry (concrete, brick) and drywall.

Installation Instructions

• Two-sided Application: We recommend spraying both the substrate and the material for all acoustic panel applications. Porous or fibrous surfaces may need a second coat. Wait for the adhesive to become tacky, but not wet, before applying the next coat.
• Apply spray adhesive to both the material substrate with 80% to 100% coverage. For acoustic panels, leave a 2 to 3 inch gap around the perimeter.
• Allow 2-4 minutes for it to "tack up".
• Then press together firmly with as much pressure as practical to create the permanent bond.
• The initial bond is strong enough to allow cutting and trimming, with maximum bond strength achieved in 1-3 days.
• Each can will cover approximately 25 sq ft for a 2-sided application.

Common Product Uses

• Use with Second Skin Audio acoustical panels
• Adding acoustic absorption to ceilings and walls. Depending on location, size and weight of panels, construction adhesive or mechanical fasteners may be required.
• Drywall, brick, concrete, fabric, and plywood materials.
