RSIC-1 ADM shoot-in multi clips are the cost-conscious, time-friendly alternative to spring isolators. These clips save on labor with an adjustable isolator to maximize performance with a minimum ceiling drop, and they can be shot into concrete for a speedy install. Installation Instructions

Install RSIC-1 ADM Multi Clip into concrete decks or joists:

For concrete, shoot into the concrete with a gas or powder actuated 3/4" pin minimum
For wood or steel screw directly to your wood or metal frame with approved fastener with a maximum spacing of 48" on center

Bend the RSIC-1 clip down until it parallel with the floor.
Adjust the height of the RSIC-1 on the threaded rod/bolt to desired height.
Lock RSIC-1 ADM into final elevation with jam/lock nut.
Ensure the metal ferrule is tight to the washer, slightly compressing the rubber.
Snap furring (hat) channels into each row of clips, maximum spacing 24" oc. Furring channel should be 0.0018" (18 mil) thick 25 gauge, hemmed edge detail.
Install the layers of 5/8" gypsum board into the clips with 1/4" min. gap around the ceiling perimeter to be sealed with acoustical caulk.
