How to Confirm Fit and Measure the Door
- Confirm that you have 1-1/2" of flat space on the jamb to mount the jamb seals.
- Confirm the bottom seal will drop onto a flat, hard surface with no obstructions. The bottom seal should drop 3/8" to the floor below.
- Open the door and measure from the floor to the top of the door frame.
- Measure the width of the door frame across the top.
- Double check your measurements to ensure accuracy before ordering or cutting.
How to Install Your Door Seal Kit
- Measure & Cut – Cut jamb seals and bottom seal to size. (bottom seal max cut: 2" on non-actuator side).
- Install Side Seals – Mount hinge and latch jamb seals with included screws.
- Install Top Seal – Mount top jamb seal between side seals to complete the perimeter.
- Adjust Seals – Use adjustment screws to tighten gasket evenly (test positive pressure with sheet of paper).
- Install Bottom Seal – Mount with actuator screw toward hinge side. Adjust until it just blocks light.
