Damplifier Pro is built for maximum performance — same butyl/foil material and install process as Damplifier, in a thicker 2mm gauge and a slightly smaller 12" x 20" sheet. Choose Damplifier instead for a lighter mat with the same great performance.

Damplifier Pro passes the FMVSS 302 flammability testing standard for vehicles. It's self-extinguishing, fire resistant, and rated for temperatures up to 450°F.

We recommend 60% coverage of the metal for most builds, concentrating on the flat metal and the tops of the wheel wells, where a lot of structural noise comes from. Car audio builds usually cover every panel since bass response depends on it, but for restoration or road-noise projects, prioritize the cabin firewall and floor, the tops of the wheel wells, and the outer door skin first, then the roof, hood, and trunk. Spread it in a checkerboard pattern for the best coverage-to-material ratio.

Damplifier Pro can be applied to metal and fiberglass. If the metal is painted, wipe down the surface with denatured alcohol first, then use a hand roller to press it on tight. The key is a clean surface!

No, Damplifier and Damplifier Pro are made with premium butyl with zero VOCs and no off-gassing. Cheap sound deadening mats are made with asphalt or contain cheap fillers leading to off-gassing and unpleasant odors. Not ours! You can always request a sample first to make sure Damplifier passes your sniff test.

Yes, Damplifier Pro and Spectrum can be used together. Apply Damplifier Pro first, directly on the metal, then apply Spectrum as a second layer.

Store Damplifier Pro in its original, unopened packaging at room temperature, flat, with the paper backing still on. Don't stack more than 50 sheets — the weight can press the butyl out from under the foil on the lower sheets.
