Firewall Thermal Insulation Package
Second Skin's Firewall Packages transform your vehicle's firewall into a thermal and acoustic barrier with two layers of professional-grade insulation. Damplifier Proâ„¢ mats combine American-made butyl rubber with a thick annealed foil to kill vibrations and block heat transfer at the metal surface. A second layer of Mega Blockâ„¢ adds top-of-the-line radiant heat protection to keep engine heat out of your cabin. Both materials feature peel-and-stick adhesive for straightforward installation, and cut easily to fit even the most irregular firewall shapes.
Features
- Dual-layer system — sound deadening + radiant heat barrier in one package
- American-made butyl rubber — no asphalt, no odor, no compromise
- Kills firewall vibrations — dramatically quiets engine noise in the cabin
- Blocks radiant engine heat — Mega Block™ reflects heat before it reaches you
