EcoVerb™ Roll - Acoustic Duct Liner

EcoVerb Roll duct liner is a rolled recycled cotton batt with a black fabric facing that you install inside HVAC ductwork. Its cotton fibers absorb sound traveling through the duct, which helps reduce fan and airflow noise at the vents, and the black facing protects the fibers from the moving air. For ducts smaller than 10", use the 1/2" thick liner. For ducts 12" x 12" or larger, use the 1" thick liner. For commercial ducts 18" x 18" or larger, use the 2" thick liner.

In ASTM C423 testing, EcoVerb Roll has an NRC of 0.40 at 1/2", 0.75 at 1", and 1.15 at 2".

Yes, EcoVerb Roll meets NFPA 90A and NFPA 90B, and it is Class A fire rated under ASTM E84 with a flame spread under 25 and a smoke developed under 50. It also complies with ICBO, BOCA, CABO, and SBCCI building codes.

EcoVerb Roll duct liner is rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F (ASTM C411) and air velocities up to 5,000 fpm (ASTM C1071).

EcoVerb Roll duct liner comes in 4' x 25' (100 sq ft) rolls, and we also offer 4' x 10' (40 sq ft) rolls for smaller jobs. Thickness options are 1/2", 1", and 2".

You can install EcoVerb Roll duct liner with X60 spray adhesive alone or with stick pins. For spray adhesive, apply it to both the cotton side and the duct surface, let it tack for 2 to 4 minutes, then press the liner firmly into place with the black fabric facing the airflow. The black fabric facing of EcoVerb Roll duct liner goes toward the airflow. It protects the absorptive cotton fibers from being eroded by moving air.

Yes, EcoVerb Roll passed fungal growth testing (ASTM C1338 and G21) and bacterial growth testing (ASTM G22) with no growth, and passed VOC emissions testing to CDPH Section 01350. The black facing is also treated with an antimicrobial.

Our preferred way to cut EcoVerb Roll is with an electric fabric cutter, which is how we cut it in house. You can also use a utility knife (swap the blade every few cuts), an Insul-Knife (sharpen it every few cuts), or fabric shears.

EcoVerb Roll duct liner is made of recycled cotton fibers with a black fabric facing of polyester and rayon (cellulose) fibers, treated to be flame retardant, water repellent, and antimicrobial.
