How do you install sound deadening in a car floor?
Here are the steps to sound deaden your car floor to reduce noise by over 10 dB:
Remove the carpet, upholstery and anything else on the floor.
Clean the metal with denatured alcohol. If any rust is present, be sure to remove that first.
Apply your sound deadener to the metal of the floor. Damplifier Pro goes on with a wooden hand roller at 60%+ coverage or Spectrum is applied in 2-3 1mm thick layers.
