RSIC-1® EXT04 Sound Isolation Clip
The RSIC-1® EXT04 is used when an additional drop is needed to soundproof around HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. Drop the ceiling as much as 4" from its original height instead of using a PVC pipe wrap.

Installation Instructions
- Direct attach the metal "L" bracket the the wood studs.
- Snap in the drywall furring channel (hat track) into the RSIC-1 clip at right angles (perpendicular or parallel) to the framing members.
- Attach 1 or 2 layers of 5/8" drywall on the hat channels.
- Seal all potential air leaks with non-hardening acoustical caulking to achieve best noise control results. Use fire rated sealant where required.
