Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV is used anywhere you need mass to block sound and foil to reflect radiant heat. It is most used for wrapping noisy PVC pipes and soundproofing HVAC ducts. It also works for generator boxes, mechanical room barriers, and machinery enclosures.

Luxury Liner Foil Faced has the same weight per square foot and flexibility as standard 1 lb MLV. It adds a reinforced scrim with higher tensile strength (608 psi). It also has a foil facing that reflects radiant heat, making it useful for wrapping pipes and ducts where you also want some thermal protection.

Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV has an ASTM E84 flame spread of 25 and a smoke developed of 500. For Class A fire rated MLV, see the Luxury Liner E84 Class A MLV.

Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV comes in 4.5' x 10' (45 sq ft) and 4.5' x 20' (90 sq ft) rolls, at a nominal 1/8" thick.

Wrap Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV around the pipe with 100% coverage and the black vinyl side facing the pipe. Overlap seams by 2" and secure the MLV with zip ties. Tape the seams with high temp foil tape for extra protection.

Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV is temperature rated from -40°F to 240°F.

Luxury Liner Foil Faced MLV is mass loaded PVC plastic with a reinforced scrim. An aluminized foil facing is bonded to one side.
