How to Measure Your Generator Box
Step 1: Determine if material will be installed on interior or exterior walls of the box. The answer will depend on the amount of space inside your box and whether you can access the back side of the box inside your vehicle.
Step 2: Measure length/width of all box faces that will be soundproofed. Do not plan to cover any vents or exhaust holes. Soundproofing materials should not be installed on the floor with the generator resting on top.
Step 3: Add up the square footage measurement of each side of the box to get your total square footage.
Damplifier Pro should be installed with 100% coverage to deaden structural noise (can go interior or exterior). Mega Block should be installed on the interior to absorb and muffle airborne noise. Luxury Liner Pro should be installed on the exterior on top of Damplifier Pro with the foam side facing down — tape the seams and cover 100% for best results.

Mega Block installed on the interior of a metal generator box to absorb and muffle airborne noise. Mega Block should always be installed inside the generator box.
Luxury Liner Pro in the process of being installed on the exterior of a generator box on top of Damplifier Pro with the foam side facing down. Luxury Liner Pro substantially increased the airborne noise blocked by metal. Tape the seams and cover 100% for best results.
