Jody needed to get his BASS ride solid for his new upgrade. So he chose to do the "sandwhich" method of Damplifier Pro + Spectrum liquid sound deadening. This approach use our 2mm butyl sheets down directly on the metal followed up with between 2-5 one mm layers of Spectrum brushed, rolled, or sprayed on. This method is great for extreme BASS builds (SPL), off road vehicles, and other extreme builds that require extra strength from strcuture borne nosie. Stage 1 - Tear down to bare metal.
Sandwhich Method Layer 1 - Damplifier Pro goes directly on the metal.
Cabin floor of the Tahoe completley covered about 36 sqft.
The rear cargo area used another 40 sqft of Damplifier Pro.
Sandwhich Method Layer 2 - Spectrum liquid sound deadening goes on top of the Damplifie Pro.
After three 1mm layers, Jody's extreme BASS build is ready to be built. This build will be solid as a vault.
